Your Essential Public Speaking Travel Pack
One of my clients is heading to Oxford to give a talk (break a leg, S!) and I’ve put together this Essential Travel Pack for her to use on the day of her talk.
If you’ve got a speech coming up, here are the 4 essential things to have in your back pocket (by which I mean saved on your phone).
Quick Vocal Warm Up: Horse Breath (1 minute)
Venue Check: Make the Room Work for You (1 minute)
Handle Your Nerves: Grounding Meditation (5 minutes)
Don’t Forget: PreShow Checklist
And even if you don’t take advantage of any of these tools, make sure you’ve got a good pair of headphones with you. Nothing says “please don’t talk to me right now, I’m chillaxing” like having your headphones in - even if there’s nothing playing! It’s the ultimate hack.
Cheers!
