What do I do with my hands?!?

This is Sophie:

Sophie is a client of mine who came to me to prepare for a HUGE signature talk. She was, as Cher in Clueless would say, “Totally buggin’.” 

But… doesn’t she look GREAT!?  

She is clear, animated, confident, and grounded. All this from a person who texted me after our first session with this:

 
 

Feel familiar? Ok, so two things:

1 - You probably are way more worried about this than you need to be. Do you think that to be a “good public speaker,” you should stand like a statue and forget you’re human? Good gestures, tied to meaning and there to make a point, can be the difference between a totally boring speech and something that keeps people engaged.

2 - Still think you need to tame it down a bit?  Here’s a 1-minute tip that gives you a shockingly simple way to ctfo.
